The White-rumped Needletail or White-rumped Spinetail (Zoonavena sylvatica) is a swift found in the forests of the Western Ghats. It is commonly seen over waterbodies in the middle of forest.
It looks similar to the Little Swift (Apus affinis), except the White-rumped Needletail has a white vent.
