The White-bellied Storm-petrel (Fregetta grallaria) is aseabird found in the open seas over a wide range, which includes:

  • Angola, Namibia and South Africa (Africa)
  • Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuator (South America)
  • Australia
  • French Polynesia in the southern Pacific Ocean
  • French Southern Territories - a group of volcanic islands in the southern Indian Ocean, southeast of Africa, approximately equidistant between Africa, Antarctica and Australia
  • Maldives - an island country in the Indian Ocean, about seven hundred kilometres (435 mi) south-west of Sri Lanka
  • New ZealandSaint Helena
  • South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands - a British overseas territory in the southern Atlantic Ocean
