Tongan Whistlers

Photo Wanted

The Tongan Whistler (Pachycephala jacquinoti) is endemic to the island of Vava'u in Tonga. Its natural habitat is the understory of primary forests, although it is found in secondary forest with large trees. This species is threatened by habitat loss.

It looks similar to the Golden Whistler, except the head and throat of the male is entirely black and the nape is yellow.
