Sprouting seed

Thanks for the info on sprouting seed for birds. I ferment feed for my friend's chickens because of the probiotics. I came across this article because I want to get back into sprouting seeds for me. I do add wheat grass seed to the chicken's feed the day before I give it to them and it softens the seed so they can make better use of them. Of course, in that amount of time the seed can't sprout. Now I have to time the ferment with the sprouting, lol. The chickens start yelling when they see me coming with their bins. They gobble it all up and make the sweetest "yummy" sounds.

We created this forum for the sister sites "avianweb.com" and "beautyofbirds.com" ... As our world turns "greener" many of us are considering poultry or fowl for our backyards. Other than "organic" eggs, they will keep our backyards weed and insect-free. Plus many of them are real characters that give us many reasons to smile throughout the day.
