Thanks for the info on sprouting seed for birds. I ferment feed for my friend's chickens because of the probiotics. I came across this article because I want to get back into sprouting seeds for me. I do add wheat grass seed to the chicken's feed the day before I give it to them and it softens the seed so they can make better use of them. Of course, in that amount of time the seed can't sprout. Now I have to time the ferment with the sprouting, lol. The chickens start yelling when they see me coming with their bins. They gobble it all up and make the sweetest "yummy" sounds.
I've recently been gifted with what I think is a Golden Pheasant, or hybrid thereof. I've attached a photo of the bird. I realize this identification may be difficult due to the young (1.5 mo.) age of the bird, but any help would be appreciated.
