Streaked Spiderhunter

Streaked Spiderhunter (Arachnothera magna)The spiderhunters are birds that are part of the Sunbird family. They were named for the fact that they hunt spiders - one of their primary food sources.

  • Naked-faced Spiderhunter Arachnothera clarae
  • Grey-breasted Spiderhunter, Arachnothera modesta - sometimes inccluded in A. affinis
  • Streaky-breasted Spiderhunter, Arachnothera affinis
  • Bornean Spiderhunter, Arachnothera everetti
  • Whitehead's Spiderhunter, Arachnothera juliae
