The Sharp-beaked Ground-finch (Geospiza difficilis) is endemic to the Galápagos Islands - a group of volcanic islands distributed around the equator in the Pacific Ocean, 972 km west of continental Ecuador. They inhabit subtropical or tropical dry forests and shrubland.
