6/7 month cockatiel shows both male and female breeding behaviours

Hello! I recently got a new tiel and now that it's growing up it's confusinge me loads. I noticed that when I'm around he "relieves himself" on objects like a male cockatiel would do and he'sstarting to sing too and is really really attention seeking and noisy, but for some reason he shows some female behaviours? For example he puts his butt up when he's woth my mother like a female would do! Can someone help me with this?

In juvenile birds in particular, they may show both typical behaviors (male and female). Even adults may - for example, if two females are kept together; one may play "the boy" and the other the girl and visa versa ... They play house ... Two males - same scenario ...
