The Large Tree-finch (Camarhynchus psittacula) is endemic to the Galapagos Islands, a group of volcanic islands distributed around the equator in the Pacific Ocean, 972 km west of continental Ecuador. It inhabits subtropical or tropical dry forests and montanes.
