The Large Saint Helena Petrel or Saint Helena Gadfly Petrel (Pterodroma rupinarum) is an extinct seabird. It was only found on the island of Saint Helena in the South Atlantic Ocean. This petrel is only known from fossil records.
It is assumed that it became extinct due to due to predation by people and introduced species. It was listed on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species in 1988 and was assessed to be extinct in 2004.
