The Goliath Coucal (Centropus goliath) is a cuckoo found in Indonesia, specifically in the northern Maluku Islands. It measures 62-70 cm in length. Adults have a black plumage with bluish wings and tail, as well as a white patch on the greater wing-coverts. On the island of Halmahera (formerly known as Jilolo, Gilolo, or Jailolo) a whitish morph, with buffish markings on head, and occasional pied individuals have been identified.
