The Golden Pipit (Tmetothylacus tenellus) is found in eastern Africa, where it inhabits grassland, savanna and shrubland.
They are endemic to Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda and occasional vagrants to Oman, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
The adult male is yellow below and yellow in the wings.
The female Golden Pipit has a yellow underside to the wing.
