Other Featured Bird Photos

Interesting Facts: This strikingly colorful bird, the Rainbow Bee-eater catches bees and other insects in flight. Before eating bees, Bee-eaters remove the sting by repeatedly hitting the bee on a branch or other hard surface. For nesting, this bee-eater digs a long tunnel in a bank, laying the eggs in a chamber at the end.
