Duyvenbody's Lory

Duyvenbody's Lories are amongst the most uniquely colored parrots. Their brown-and-yellow contrasted plumage is very striking and very beautiful. This lory is very endangered in its natural habitat of north-western New Guinea, Western New Guinea, East Aitape Area, and the territory of New Guinea.

This is confusing it looks like a duck but it’s about 500 mm high, it has a small mallard ( female ). With it behaving like an off spring. Other ducks are hostile to this one. I can’t find anyone in the UK that can help identify this. It was take in Northamptonshire
