The Blue Cotinga (Cotinga nattererii) is found in tropical moist lowland and heavily degraded former forest areas in Colombia, north-west Ecuador, eastern and central Panama and western Venezuela.
Diet / Feeding
They feed mainly on fruit.
The males have a bright blue plumage - the blue color is produced by air bubbles in the feathers which scatter light.
The females are much duller than males and are mainly brown.
