The Black-faced Hawk (Leucopternis melanops) is a species of bird of prey found in the northern Amazon Basin of Brazil and the Guianas; also Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname and Venezuela.

This hawks inhabits subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
