Description:

Size: 65-75 cm in length with a 150-167 cm wingspan.

Plumage:  Adults have a white head and underside, slate-colored back and wings, and a thick yellow bill with a red spot at the end. Its legs are yellow, though first winter birds display pink legs. The eyes are yellow.
