Yellow-billed Cardinal

Distribution: Southern Brazil, through Paraguay and northern Argentina; introduced to Hawaii.

Description:

Size: 13-15 cm in length.

Plumage:  The head is bright red and the throat is black. The bill is yellow to orange and the same color as the legs. The undersides are white and the uppersides are blackish, and these are separated from the head by a white half collar. The eyes are black with brown eyerings.
