Tricolored Blackbird

Distribution:

Found along the coastal areas of the Pacific coast of North America, from Northern California in the United States south to upper Baja California in Mexico. Occasionally vagrants move as far north as Oregon.

 

Description:

The male's plumage is black with distinctive white stripes below their red shoulder patches. Females have a mostly brown plumage.
