Description:

Size: 9-11 cm in length with a 18-22 cm wingspan.

Plumage: Both sexes are bluish-gray above, with a gray-brown cap terminated by indistinct black eye line. There is a faint white smudge at the base of the neck. The undersides are off-white. The legs, beak, and eyes are all black.
