Description:

Size: 11-14 cm in length with a 18-22 cm wingspan.

Plumage: Dark brown and heavily streaked overall, with a notched tail and small patches of yellow in the wings and tail. The underside is white heavily streaked with brown. The beak and legs are gray and the eyes are black.
