Description:

Size: 26-28 cm in length.

Plumage: Adults have short greenish-gray legs and a long straight dark bill. The body is mottled brown on top, with off-white lines down their back. They are pale underneath with a streaked buff breast and white belly. They have a dark eyestripe, with light stripes above and below it. The legs are brown and the eyes are black with white eyelids.
