Description:

Size: 14-15 cm in length with a 23-25 cm wingspan.

Plumage: Both sexes are heavily streaked brown on the back and wings, with off-white stripes on the wing mantle, and with black markings on a white belly and tawny brown breast below. The legs are peach, the beak is light brown, and the eyes are black with brown irises.
