Description:

Size: 28-31 cm in length.

Plumage: Grayish-brown throat and back with a white underside and light brown wings mottled with dark brown. Tail feathers are striped light and dark brown. They have a dark brown crown bordered by off-white brow lines. The eyes are black with a dark brown spot directly under them. The legs are long and black and the long thin downcurved bill is black at the base and pink on the underside.
