Description:

Size: 28-31 cm in length with a 35-40 cm wingspan.

Plumage:  A bright green body and green tail with yellow on the sides, and brilliant blue crown and cheeks. The rest of the head, throat, and breast are black. The legs are light gray to black and the beak and eyes are black.
