Gray-streaked Flycatcher

Other Names: Grey-spotted Flycatcher

Distribution: northeast Asia in summer; southeast Asia and southern China in winter.


Size: 13-15 cm in length.

Plumage: Mainly gray-brown above and white below. The breast and flanks are light gray heavily streaked with dark gray. There is a narrow white bar on the wing and a pale patch between the bill and eye. The bill and feet are black. Juveniles have white spots and dark scaling on the underside. The eye is large and there is a white eye-ring.
