Description:

Size: 16-17 cm in length with a 18-19 cm wingspan.

Plumage:  Both sexes are dull olive-brown, with pale, spotted undersides. The sides of the face are tinged with gray, and the lower mandible is flesh colored. The legs are pinkish-gray and the eyes are black.
