Eurasian Tree Sparrow

Distribution: throughout Europe and northern Asia; introduced to Missouri.

Description:

Size: 12-14 cm in length with a 21-22 cm wingspan, weighing approximately 24 g.

Plumage: Generally streaked brown above and dull white below. The crown is chocolate brown, the throat is black, and the cheek is white with a prominent black spot. The legs are pink and the beak and eyes are black.
