Description:

Size: 15 cm in length.

Plumage: Generally light brown streaked and/or spotted with dark brown. Males have a yellow breast with a black V pattern and a chestnut wing patch. Females have narrow black streaks along the sides, and a yellowish throat and breast. The beak and legs are gray and the eyes are black with yellow eyerings.
