Description:

Size: 14-15 cm in length with a 20-22 cm wingspan.

Plumage: Adults have gray-brown backs and speckled brown crowns, dark streaks on the uppersides, and a pale eye-ring. The wings are brown with light wing bars and the undersides are pale gray. The legs and beak are brown and the eyes are black.
