Description:

Size: 55-62 cm in length with a 105-117 cm wingspan, weighin 1-2.2 kg.

Plumage: Adults have a gray belly and breast, white rump, and black neck and head with a thin white line over the throat. Juveniles are similar, but have three white bars on the wing. The legs, bill, and eyes are black.
