Description:

Size: 26-37 cm in length with a 39-50 cm wingspan.

Plumage: Males are black, with iridescent blue glossing on the back and breast, and yellow or brown eyes. Females are smaller and overall brown with a slightly paler brown breast. The tail is very long and keel-shaped.
