Distribution: Mexico south to Nicaragua.

Description:

Size: 22-23 cm in length.

Plumage: Entirely black on the head, back and tail, and almost entirely black on the wings. Most of the underside is bright yellow to orange, but the black of the head extends down the neck onto the upper breast. The eyes, beak, and legs are black.
