The Green-naped Lory is the most common of the Rainbow Lories.
Description
The head of this lory is mostly blue. The lower throat and the breast are bright red with a heavy barring of purblish-black. Its abdomen is green.
They can be good pets, but some individuals become nippy, especially at sexual maturity. Not terribly noisy and can speak fairly well. (Description by Dick Schroeder - Owner of Cuttlebone Plus & Expert Breeder / Keeper of Lories).
